Vacation · Family I had booked last minute to get away from the flood warning. The hotel was a bit far from the city, but I wasn’t planning on going out anyway. I called their number directly and I spoke to the loveliest receptionist ever! I explained my situation and asked if I could check in a little earlier. To my surprise, she mentioned a ready room, and before I knew it, I was warmly greeted by the same lady at the hotel. Check-in was a breeze, and the flexibility with card and mobile payments was a huge plus for me. All I did was pay, sign my name, and headed straight to my room. The facilities were neat and tidy, and although I wasn’t able to visit their rooftop (regrettably), I was able to enjoy and spend time with my family in their rooms. Closing in to dinner, they also called and asked if we wanted to order something as kitchen closes around 7-7:30pm. Although it was a bit too early, I didn’t mind. I had the food room serviced as well, which again, was super convenient! Despite minor issues like the water pressure, the outstanding customer service overshadowed any shortcomings. It was a short but truly great stay, and I’m already looking forward to the next visit! Rooms: 4/5Service: 5/5Location: 3/5 Rooms The room was sparkling clean. The only issue I had was the water pressure as it wasn’t that strong. The TV could use a few channels, too, but the receptionist was kind enough to provide WiFi vouchers for all our devices. What’s cool, though, is that every room had a balcony. It’s a nice touch! I especially enjoyed those chilly mornings when you can sometimes catch glimpses of fog rolling outside. Adds a bit of magic to the stay! Food & drinks I ordered sweet style spaghetti and shepherds pie. The sweet style spaghetti was exactly how you’d expect it to be, but the shepherds pie was a bit too oily. It still tasted great, though! Noteworthy details The staff was absolutely incredible – I'd give them a whopping 10000/10! Seriously, from the friendly security guard to the welcoming receptionist and the super-organized housekeeping team, everyone was just awesome. Staying here didn't feel like your typical budget-friendly boutique hotel; it felt like they were on par, or even friendlier, than those fancy hotels in the city.
